There can be so many reasons when you need to record your screen. When I started using Linux, I used to record my screen whenever I had any problem and upload it to Linux communities.

Today I sometimes record my screen for demonstration purposes in my tutorials. Similarly, you can record your screen in Linux. In this article, I’m going to mention 5 Best screen recorders in Ubuntu. So let’s get started!

ScreenStudio allows you to record HD video. It also allows for text overlay and there is support for webcam. You can stream directly to Twitch, UStream or Hitbox with text overlay.
